360Youth- Starting February 15th!
(upbeat music) – I believe that mentoring
to help people have experiences that will let
them know that they’re not alone and they have
people to go to when they’re in times of need
or in their darkest hour. – Being able to go to
a workshop and see that you’re teacher or facilitator
is somebody that’s close to your age or maybe
just a little bit older, and maybe even just a little bit younger is really amazing. That’s inspiring. I would highly encourage
our young adults to enter our youth program because
it really is something that will give you
several tools for success. – So we do a person
centered planning approach, because as people who have disabilities it’s very common for us
to be labeled just with our disability. It’s very important to
know who we are as person and who we are first,
before anything else. – Learning about disability
history was very eye opening. Because most of the time schools
don’t actually teach that. – 360 Youth, supports high
school students and young adults as they plan for employment,
independence and adult life. Join us on Saturday, February 15th. From 11 A.M. to one P.M.
at the Ability 360 Campus for food, fun, and to learn more. Get more information and
