yeah this shit’s not bumping samples
cool the drums are type I can’t seem to get the bass to come out what’s going on
here I like Fred eight away mouth for a Reese
I don’t want the bass in the background of the sample here how can i how can I
get that hmm you know I think I think there must be a way
if there’s got to be a way I should try multiband compression let’s get started
on this hey guys today I’ll be showing you two
ways you can raise the bass up and I’m a lot example here’s the song we’ll be
working with first you’re gonna want to duplicate the
sample next we got to set the multiband compressor I’m gonna use this one from
isotopes ozone we’re not gonna use it to compress actually but so little low
bands instead first set up the frequency I’m gonna solo mine around 200 Hertz
then turn the threshold up to zero then turn the ratio down to one the
reason I do this instead of filtering is because they can help prevent any phase
issues yes and I’m gonna compare how it sounds with all right now it’s time for
the second method this one’s even cleaner and more modern basically we’re
gonna use Ableton’s audio to MIDI feature after making some
edits to our current bass first you’re gonna want to add a low-pass filter to
the bass stem you want to get it as close to a clean sounding bass this is
important for the next step because if the algorithm hears other notes and
they’re it’s gonna try to throw those in there so if you can just get a nice
clean bass stem so he’s going for next you’re gonna want to right-click your
sample and click convert melody to new MIDI track you might have to wait a
while if you balance some long file like me after it’s done you’re gonna want to
pull up your favorite scents so we can build our sub I’m gonna use saram so I’m
gonna turn off the oscillator and turn on the sub the sine wave is fine the
octaves good we’re good next you may have to edit the notes to
make sure that the bass is exactly as you wanted or as the song is depending
how clean what you’re analyzing is you may not have to do any work at all if
you guys enjoyed the song make sure to check it out I linked it in the
description it’s a song by my homie paradigm song inside a bleep peripherals pretty dope hip hop this version I shown
here in this tutorial is like it’s like mid mix down I just want to give you
guys a couple more updates for I finish off this video I’m gonna start streaming
soon and I bought it about capture card because I’ve wanted to use my camera for
the for the streaming but I don’t know this thing that you need me Windows 10
and I’m not buying Windows 10 on top of buying the stupid thing so I’m just
gonna take it back and get a webcam in while doing some VST reviews also like
you know I’m gonna review the new like ozone I was looking at this new thing
lately I was looking at surfer EQ so I’m reviewing that if you guys got any ideas
for some things I should review throw it in the comments anyways hope you guys
enjoyed this video don’t forget to comment like subscribe and I’ll see you
guys next time oh one more thing I’ll so stole a meme
