I can't wait to do it on my own. I will definitely follow you. Sir! Reply Rhonda Dassia' Holloway says: July 3, 2017 at 10:47 pm After I select the color picker tool and click the color I want to fill, I then click the back ground layer however when I press control comma it doesn't fill it. is there another way to do that without the keyboard? (I'm on a mac also.) Reply Kent Dickerson says: July 7, 2017 at 11:57 pm What about a spine on the cover? I realize with only 60 pages your book does not have one but it would have been nice to include an example Reply Catherine Copp says: August 22, 2017 at 9:13 pm Hi, this is a great video! I have a question – what about the description and the ISBN area I see on the templates available inside Createspace? Will the book cover I make following your instructions also have this once I open it in Createspace? Thanks so much. Reply Antonis Antoniou says: August 26, 2017 at 2:06 pm Thank you Dale till this day I was outsourcing my cteatespace cover to fiverr. But it easy and fun to DIY . You are the best! Reply Dennis D says: December 6, 2017 at 8:19 pm This was helpful, but part of it I think is misleading. You say to resize your "image" for the cover to the size of the book. But if there is a color background, which there almost always is, don't you need to resize the image the bleed border of the template? That would be a little larger than the "size" of the book. Reply Shanique Bell says: December 16, 2017 at 3:54 pm Do i have to have a certain page number to use their book cover tool? Reply Sheila M says: December 18, 2017 at 8:49 pm Thank you for this video!! Especially the link !! Reply Samora Yeboah says: April 7, 2018 at 1:49 pm Hey I require a customized template but they don't have that specific trim size. Does that mean I have to create my own template? Reply Carolyn Hannan Bell, LPC says: April 28, 2018 at 6:19 pm i am not very techno savvy, but was able to follow all of the instructions up to th layer options tab. There is no book cover template layer option on the bottom so I am unable to fill the colow in the background of my cover. I'd so much appreciate your help! thank you! Reply Barbara Finney says: June 11, 2018 at 8:34 am I have spent hours at this and GIMP or my version simply cant' open the files that create space sent. I did everything described in this video over and over for past several house till my stomach hurts, I am so tired of crazy technology. Reply Anh Dao Nguyen says: June 16, 2018 at 5:55 pm I have Macbook, what should I download on their GIMP page? I think it's OSX, right? But they say no version for it. I tried their last version but it didn't download, just show a list stated like that "gimp-2.8.2-dmg-1.dmg", which I don't understand what should I do. Please help! Watching your video, I think GIMP is much more easier to use than Photoshop. Thanks! Reply Barbara Finney says: June 17, 2018 at 12:43 pm Ok. After binge watching videos all night again. I am getting a better grasp of this stuff. But though I understand everything for the most part, I am missing the part where the book cover for the front cover came for in this video. Was that front cover image also made in GIMP?
