I want to use it, but the rest of the program is so convoluted I can't stand it. Every thing easy is made difficult by this program. FX channel folders? Why? Why not just be able to insert effects right on a track or in a bus mix? Everything from setups to menus is unnecessarily difficult, time-consuming and annoying. You have to drag to resize the window. Who wants a small window? One click and it should maximized. It should be maximized by default. This kind of tediousness in a program sucks all the creative energy out of the process. I tried Cubase a few years ago and had the same reaction. I thought by now Cubase would have fixed this stuff and made it more user-friendly. I guess I'll check back in a couple years… Reply Mike Glendinning says: July 26, 2015 at 8:40 pm All i wanted to do was use all 4 of the UR44 inputs isolated on the outputs for Sonar X3. Does anyone know how to do that? All it offers is L,R and Stereo inputs and outputs. Reply l. c morris says: August 22, 2015 at 3:10 pm ever since i downloaded windows 10 i have been unable to play any of the steinberg tutorials for cubase 8. the tutorials for cubase 7 work fine. the video keeps asking me to restart my device. do you have any advice about how to correct the problem? Reply Marieke Wouterse says: August 23, 2015 at 11:44 am Can someone please help me? I tried to record with Cubase 8 but when I record the guitar, the guitar doesn't sound clear. When I open a project I choose Vocal + Acoustic guitar but the guitar deformed. I also have trouble recording audio. When there is a few seconds I don't sing, as soon as I start singing again, the first letter of what I'm singing goes away. So if I say 'maybe' it records 'aybe'. It is so annoying. Hopefully you can help me. Reply Arin Glimm says: August 23, 2015 at 7:50 pm Where are the loops how do i get them???? I do not have an output from the UR22. I recorded the sound and the saved WAV file has the sound recoded.. I can double click on the wav file and I hear it.. How do I play back that sound from within Cubase so that it plays back on the PC? Reply daibon Ten says: October 17, 2016 at 7:59 pm One more Q. The sound volume from my Stratocaster is so low.. I have increased the Mixconsole input signal level to the max and its still low… when I add a Wav background track to mix the background track is way too loud relative to the electric guitar. and I have to really reduce that sound on the mix console Should I connect the Stratocaster to the Fender amp and then use the headphone out from the amp into the UR22 mkII input 1/2? I tried increasing the volume knob on the guitar too Reply Knock Knock says: October 22, 2016 at 8:14 pm how do i get the instrument to play in the headphone to record? All I want is just record a few songs, no vocals, only my guitar, and I have no idea how can I do it! I'm afraid of attempts, I don't want to destroy something. Can someone please please tell me, how the hell can I simply record that damn guitar? After one week, In this moment I have to say, this Steinberg doesn't woth it.
