Reply Mac Joseph says: February 3, 2019 at 6:24 pm I though the phone has an output not input. If you want audio on your phone i would highly suggest using the roland Go Mix.it will send audio from any source to your phone. I use it all the time plus you can see if your clipping. Try it out! They look awesome. Reply Annemarie Esser says: February 3, 2019 at 7:47 pm Reloop Tape 2 is also a very nice device to do this. Reply rogutz 31 says: February 3, 2019 at 8:14 pm how do you do it on a taula4 mixer by canelectric?? Reply Atem S. says: February 3, 2019 at 8:17 pm Interesting…. NICE! Reply Lyndon Noel says: February 3, 2019 at 8:17 pm Great video as always i have a question how can i convert serato recordings to mp3? Reply DJ_PaulTUK says: February 3, 2019 at 8:59 pm Of course you can always use a "Reloop Tape". @LaidbackLuke has been using them for almost 10yrs. Im now using one as well. Its a tiny little device that looks like an old cassette tape. But its actually a hardware MP3 creator. You just run your audio in and out of it, and it rips an MP3 @ 320kb direct to a microSD card. Use some Velcro and stick it to a USB powerbank and you can record for hours without the need to find a wall outlet for power. Reply DJ KYLOWW says: February 3, 2019 at 9:24 pm wonderful tip Reply TerranOctane says: February 3, 2019 at 9:42 pm I plug my laptop into the square usb plug and rekordbox recognizes the djm900 and i record in rekordbox. Thats how I've been making my mixes. Reply Ian Bang says: February 3, 2019 at 10:24 pm Really? On your phone? Going in to your phone through the mic input will make your recording MONO – which would be awful to listen to. If you're gonna do a video like this, why not go into detail about what devices to use, which will actually give you a good recording? Reply jiggyman007 says: February 3, 2019 at 10:58 pm Geddon Phil!!! Reply P Man says: February 4, 2019 at 1:49 am You should try to use two cameras because hearts that you're pointing to our hidden by your hands. If you had a second camera at a 45 degree angle opposite of where you're sitting or kneeling your editor would be able to just switch shots. Otherwise great information thanks! Reply Rick Dawson says: February 4, 2019 at 5:12 am you forgot to mention the Tascam or Zoom portable recorders.I have a Tascam DR-40, and after updating the firmware, I've got it to record at the right levels from the record out. can also with the DR-40 record a second stereo pair from the microphones at the same time as the output from the mixer.later on after the recording, you can edit to blend the live sound of the crowd/dancefloor with the set played. Reply DOZE says: February 4, 2019 at 8:46 am But the audio will be in mono, won't it? Reply bruce24011982 says: February 4, 2019 at 10:30 am So it doesn‘t work without a TRRS cable? When i want to Record with iphone? Reply Jarvis Official says: February 4, 2019 at 12:15 pm On some mixers the mic output isn't routed to the booth or the record out only the master out. The xone92 being one. So if you want that mic included in the recording your going to have to use the master out as the recording take off. Reply david lemant says: July 30, 2019 at 9:50 pm The link above (amazon) redirects to a "TRS to TRRS-cable", not a "TRRS to TRS-cable". Can you clarify which one we need? (I guess TRRS to TRS in order to record in stereo). Thanks for a reply. Reply Keeny J says: December 21, 2019 at 3:44 pm do you need any additional app on your phone in order for this to work? Reply Luke Devlin says: December 28, 2019 at 9:16 pm I want to record a mix on rekordbox, but the record button is disabled, how do I enable it? Reply Velanche Stewart says: December 29, 2019 at 5:10 am Unfortunately, as I'm now finding out, the Pioneer DJM-S9, one of its high-end mixers, does not have a dedicated record input. The only outs on the back are the master ones, XLR & RCA, and booth, TRS. Kinda disappointing, especially since we use vinyl quite a bit and don't want to have to carry the laptop in order to record with Serato when we don't need it. I'm currently looking for a solution. Reply Boxa Francis says: December 30, 2019 at 2:21 pm Do you need both cables you put in the description? Reply M A says: December 31, 2019 at 3:17 pm What if you don't have a mixer ??? What if you're just using it from your laptop. I'm trying to create a mix and record it. But the problem is i'm STREAMING it from the new soundcloud feature. And everyime i click record . It pops up with a message saying "Cannot record, This track is protected DRM" or something along those lines. Reply big rob says: January 13, 2020 at 10:54 pm So how do you record if there’s no record out? Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
