Reply Amit Katri says: January 28, 2019 at 9:52 pm Hey there great video! When loading samples I've cut from Sony sound forge, the one shots tempo is not in sync when I'm mixing on the fly, it's either too fast or too slow? Can you tell me where I might be going wrong? Better still a video? 😊 Reply Scoox says: January 30, 2019 at 3:34 am Personally, I think this is gimmicky crap. When I started off with Traktor 8 years go I tried to cram every feature into my controller mappings, but once I started doing real DJ sets it quickly dawned on me that a lot of those fancy features, while very attractive on marketing blurb, are not very useful at all in a set. I've used one remix decks mainly for one shots and playing a loop over other tracks. I wouldn't ever want to tap out a crappy drum loop during my sets. Just me anyway. Reply Adrian Thompson says: March 14, 2019 at 9:55 pm My gosh I just learnt so much about my new decks from this one video, thank you! Looking forward to putting these ideas into practice 👊👊👊 Reply Pedro Estrela says: March 18, 2019 at 7:24 am This new S4 feature is a lot simpler than the full remix decks capabilities. Thats actually great, those were overkill. The implementation is quite reasonable for having only 8 pads, with some easy layered functions. I will try to replicate this function on my DDJ mappings (https://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/9279) Reply manucaselectah says: April 4, 2019 at 9:06 am Great video, can you tell me if you can use this mixer as a standalone mixer? without being connected to the pc? Reply Lourdes Gessa says: April 13, 2019 at 11:51 am Also, you can access all the slots from the remix set straight from the S4, using shift and the browser knob. But is a shame you can no longer drag a loop directly into the slots. Reply Ysasmendi says: June 7, 2019 at 6:20 pm How are you seeing the mixer and the in/out loop points while using a Mac? I have a Retina display and cannot get the in/out loop points to show at the same time as the mixer. I have to hide the latter to make room for the former. Reply Jack says: June 12, 2019 at 3:17 pm Can you please tell me how do you remove or delete a sample in the remix deck? Reply oran brener cohen says: June 23, 2019 at 7:08 am Great video! how'd you get the sounds that you placed as the samples? Reply Gaming-Authority says: June 24, 2019 at 2:02 am is there effects like slicer or beat jump in this controller? if not, can u add them from the software? Reply Mateusz Paruszewski says: July 5, 2019 at 3:31 pm how do you record whole phrases,? i.e. id like to be able to record 16 bars of the song im playing currently and put it in the remix deck so i can play the loop over some different tracks in my set later. but not by dragging the title, it can get a bit messy playing live Reply S Woolf says: August 30, 2019 at 5:40 am Is there a way to capture a loop off of deck b into deck d in the remix deck without touching the laptop? only want to touch the controller.. thanks Reply james chen says: September 17, 2019 at 11:33 am fucking niccccce！！！！ Reply HANNES Aichholzer says: September 26, 2019 at 6:33 pm Hi, thx for the good Video 👌. Thank you Reply Scott Richter says: December 31, 2019 at 4:57 am Great video, thanks. I'm trying to use the remix decks for mixing in well known loops to my existing set. Right now every time I grab a loop and put it into the sample deceit either plays too fast or too slow? When I capture these beats, how do I capture it or set the settings so that my captured beats sync to my existing set/songs? Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
