How to use your guide and DVR. Your Guide delivers the simplest, fastest and most complete way to access your entertainment. Press the Menu button on your remote to get to the main menu. Here, you can find shows to watch on live TV, your DVR or on-demand. Select Guide to easily explore all the great entertainment on live TV. Or, press the right arrow while watching TV to see what’s on a particular channel right now. If the show you want to watch is airing right now, select Watch to tune in. With your DVR, you can control live television with the pause and rewind buttons on your remote control. Within the Guide, use your remotes arrow keys to see what’s on every channel up to two weeks out. Or, use the fast-forward and rewind buttons to jump 24 hours forward or backward in the Guide. To get to your favorite channels more quickly, highlight the channel number or logo and press OK, then select Favorite to add it to your list of preferred channels. With the DVR, you can record up to six shows at once, and you can access the shows on your DVR from any room in your home. Or use the Guide to navigate to any other show on now and press record. You’ll see a confirmation that your show is recording. If the show you want to record hasn’t aired yet, the DVR makes it easy to set up your recording. To record a single episode or an entire series, select the show and press OK on your remote control. Select Episodes. Then, scroll to the episode you wish to record and press OK. Select Record, then choose Just this episode or All episodes. You can also choose the detailed recording options that are right for you including ending a recording late so you never miss a moment of the action. Now, select Confirm to schedule your recording. To see your recordings, press the Menu button on your remote to get to the main menu. Select Saved, then press OK. Navigate to Recordings and scroll through all the shows that are stored on your DVR. View by Most Recent or A-Z or choose For You to see shows you’ve Just Recorded, Recently Watched, your Favorite Channels and apps plus recommendations we think you’ll love. To watch a recording, just navigate to the show, press OK, then select Watch. If you’ve already started watching, you can select Resume or Start Over. The watch indicator lets you know how much of the show you’ve already seen. Use the remote to start, pause and jump backward or forward through the shows stored on your DVR. The page up and page down buttons let you jump forward or backward faster. To delete a show, just select it, then choose Delete, press OK and confirm. Or simply press D on your remote and OK to confirm. These shows will go in a Recently Deleted folder at the bottom of your Recordings list. It’s like the trash can on your computer, so if you’ve deleted a show but change your mind within 24 hours, you can easily retrieve it. But don’t worry– your DVR lets you store lots of shows, so you’ll always have something to watch. See your upcoming recordings by selecting Scheduled. To modify an upcoming recording, highlight it, press OK, then select Options. You can modify your recording options for just an episode or all episodes. Change your mind about an upcoming recording? It’s easy to cancel. Just highlight the scheduled recording and select Cancel. Your Series Priority manager can be found in Scheduled recordings. It prioritizes your series recordings in case of conflicts. Keep your favorite shows at the top to make sure they’ll always record if you have more than 6 recordings scheduled for the same time.
