Limpieza Profunda De Discos De Vinilo con gel Winyl Record Cleaner PRUEBA-REVIEW-TUTORIAL SUBTITLES!
Welcome to ViniloEnfermos. Today we are going to do a test of this vinyl record cleaner gel called Winyl Record Cleaner It is made in Spain and we’re testing how it works Recently I made a video about how to upload your record collection to Discogs I leave here the link in case you haven’t seen it And I showed you this album that I had bought. And what happened was that when I opened the package I found that there was a tremendous musty smell And this record was the cause of all problems Because it came with mold on the sleeve … In the inner sleeve where the lyrics of the songs come. Huge mold spots. And what is worse … On the disk. It is completely full of white spots Everywhere, on both sides. Under normal conditions I would have returned this disk In fact I already told you in that video that I had talked to the seller And he had offered to reimburse me for the record And of all the records I had bought if necessary. And the cost of return shipping and everything. But then I remembered that I had this free sample They had sent me a couple of years ago. And I had not found so far a record that was in such bad condition I already told you in a previous video what I usually do to clean the records I leave the link up here But it is clear that this is a special record. So… Instead of returning it, what I am going to do is a tutorial on how to use this gel So we see how it works. In the bag in addition to the sample bottle comes a syringe To dose the product And some instructions … Telling us how to apply it And … what it is intended for It is a gel that forms a film that removes dirt inside the groove due to its great penetration and extraction capacity It cleans and restores dirty or old vinyl records, improving their appearance and sound Eliminates deepest dirt in the grooves reducing annoying noises, pops and clicks. If the vinyl is damaged by misuse, conservation or wear It will improve the sound but will not eliminate physical defects such as scratches, bumps or wear caused by the needle That is to say: it’s not magic Then instructions are given on how to apply the product and … I’m not reading it. I’m going to do it myself so you can see it. But I will tell you that the recommended dose for 12 ” records is 14 to 16 ml per side And for 7 ” records 5 to 6 ml per side I think this album is not just any record. It is super dirty. It is beaten up.. So I’m going to use the roller cleaner to at least remove surface dirt And then we’ll see how the gel works. The first thing we need to have prepared is a piece of paper It clearly states that it can’t be cardboard so that it soaks well. And about 4cm x 1cm. A paper rectangle that we will place on top of the product when we have applied it And once it dries, it will help us start removing the film that forms the solidified gel with all the dirt. As the syringe they give us is 5ml we will fill it 3 times to reach 15ml Let’s distribute it in a zig zag over the surface of the record, all over the side We are applying it in a zig zag This zig zag must be done all over the surface of the disk Keep in mind that it’s 3 full syringes so we have to distribute them 5 exact milliliters again … and applying Third syringe … We have already applied the recommended dose. I’m going to leave the syringe here And what we do now is distribute … all the gel we have put, evenly This must be done, not super fast, but it is convenient … not falling asleep because it starts to get … quite solid, really fast. So we spread it. Trying not to leave many bubbles or anything left. And then the product itself… Settles on the record So there is nothing to do but wait I think it’s already well distributed so what we are going to do is place the paper as I told you Here for example Let dry 4 to 6 hours at 23 ° C indoors Outdoors or with a slight air flow, the time will be shorter It is not recommended to apply hot air directly on the product. Or expose it directly to sunlight And then it says … check that the film is completely dry And pull the paper to remove the film. So what we are going to do is wait and when this is dry we’ll be back It’s been 4 1/2 hours since I applied the product There you see the piece of paper that I put that is already perfectly stuck And the areas that have a more matte color are already dry, and the shinny areas are still wet. So I’m going to wait up to 6 hours or 6 1/2 hours Until I see it’s definitely dry. I pushed a little with my finger And the fingerprint is there, do you see it? So that means it’s not ready. I waited 6 more hours Well here we are again. I have waited for 10 hours. It is night already. And we are finally checking it, and removing the film I’ve let it dry for 10 hours because … after the 6 hours marked on the instructions it was still wet And I left … my fingerprint And after 8 hours, there was … It was practically dry everywhere but there was an area In which I had probably left more product than I should And I still could leave my fingerprint You have to keep in mind, as the instructions said, that … where I live it is a cloudy day, it has rained and everything There is a lot of humidity And also the room temperature is 19ºC I have dried it here inside, not outdoors because it was raining as I say And that’s why I left it for 10 hours We are going to remove the layer already And the first thing I’m going to do is help it a little This area here I scrape it a little with the nail, the edge In case there is some gel there, it seems fine And we started to pull I hold the record from the label so it doesn’t move Geeeez! And it is supposed to come out on one piece, okay? So if this happens to you, what just happened to me … Error! Let’s try to get everything together That’s it. Like this. Over here, same thing This probably happened because I spread it too far into the edge And I shouldn’t have But you see that it comes out pretty easily Hold from the other side … and keep pulling At first glance it does not seem that the plastic is too dirty but if you look closely, you see … all the dust remains And the dirt from the damp spots is stuck there Here you see side 2 as it was The one we have not cleaned. Full of white spots And notice the difference with side 1 It is not perfect at all, but it has cleaned most of the dirt And only white stains are left This record is not playable yet, in my opinion What I’m going to do, after this, is clean it on the manual washing machine that I have, the machine You have to be very careful with moisture on records because … it can extend from one sleeve to another, from one record to another And that is a fungus, so you know that fungi reproduce like a bat out of hell Be very careful and if you have a record with moisture … first try to return it and get rid of it And if you have no choice but to keep it, then keep it separate from your collection just to avoid a disaster Finally I tell you that this product is available in a half a liter bottles, 500ml And I have seen it for sale at cuidatumusica.com Which is where I received this free sample from But it’s also on the big online shops that you all know So if you want to support somehow the vinyl community and small businesses CUIDATUMUSICA.COM otherwise, use the usual sites Well, that’s it for today.
