Wait, oh my god! I’m just throwing all my
records on the floor! Hey everyone welcome back to my channel! If you’ve
been following my videos for a while you know I haven’t posted in a while, but
today I’m back with a new video. I’m very excited to start with new videos every
week. So if you want to see them, stay tuned. Don’t forget to subscribe, so you
get a notification when I post a new video, which is hopefully going to be
every week. Let’s go! Today I’m showing you guys my record collection. And I have
quite a few records so I’m splitting it up into three parts. Today I’m going
to show you all my thrifted and vintage records, also all my singles. So I hope
you enjoy! So, the first two I got in Coventry which is where I used to
live. I got these two records by the Beach Boys. I really like ‘God Only Knows’
because of ‘Love Actually’ Nice bums as well! Second or third one as you want to
say is by Doris Day, it’s the ’20 Golden Greats’ and I got this one from my mom.
‘Whatever Will Be, Will be’ is featured on here and, yeah, my mom was kind enough to give it to me, so thanks! Okay so this one is probably one of my favourites! It’s one
of my mom’s kind of first records. She borrowed it to me but I kind of told
myself that is was mine. I’m not sure where when it was released, but yeah, this is the
Grease album. Very nice memories of this one!
[sings ‘Grease’] So the next one, the previous one was like number 28 in my mom’s
collection, I also got this one from my mom and it was 78. So it’s a few
years later. Michael Jackson ‘Thriller’ and my mom gave this to me. I wanted to buy
it myself but she told me I could have hers. Shoutout to my mom! So the next one I
actually don’t remember where I got it, oh yeah! I got it on the Swan Market, which
is a market in Rotterdam. They sell a bunch of records as well, and I decided
to pick this one which is ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart’ by Joy Division. So I found
this one in the record store which sells used records as well. I really like
Elvis Presley and this one has ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’
Elvis Presley. And then I also have a record by Andy Summers Robberts something
‘Bewitched’. To be honest I only picked this one up because I really liked to front cover… I think
I listened to it once or twice but since I have quite a lot of records I don’t
normally listen to this one which is kind of a shame. So maybe I’ll put it on
today! This is Tchaikovsky ‘the Nutcracker’.
I used to love the Nutcracker when I was little. Yeah, it’s really good, it calms me
down and it’s just it’s a beautiful ballet. So the last one is this Queen
family ‘We Will Rock You’ a record which is really nice as well. So, that’s all my
thrifted records, and now we’re on to all my singles, which also include
10-inch records and thrifted ones but it’s one video anyway! So the first one I
got is from Bastille, it’s ‘Comfort of Strangers’ and it’s a Record Store Day
one “An exclusive new Bastille song for Record Store Day” I think it includes two
songs. It’s a white record and it just says
Bastille on one side and ‘Comfort of Strangers’ on the other side. The next one
I have is by Chopin and it’s a ballet as well. I sometimes like to listen to
classical music. I’m exposed now, basically. So, the next one is by Niall
Horan, it’s his record store day. It has ‘On The Loose’ and ‘Slow Hands’ on one side and
then ‘On My Own’ and ‘Mirrors’ on the other one. Yeah, I’m very happy with it! I picked
it up in Coventry. I queued up for two hours, I think when I was able to go in I
was so nervous that they didn’t have it anymore or that it would be too
expensive, but it was literally the amount of money I had left and I picked
up the last one so, yes! Okay, so the next one is a single, it’s Elton John’s ‘Sorry
Seems To Be The Hardest Word’ It brought back some good memories so I
decided to pick that up as well. So I have two singles by the Kooks: ‘Always
Where I need To Be; which I absolutely love this one, and then ‘Sway’. So I
think ‘Seaside’ and ‘Sway’ are my favorite songs
by the Kooks and I’m very happy that I managed to get ‘Sway’ on record. So that’s
really nice! I got it I think I got it from Manchester… No! It was somewhere in Belgium, which I was I was there for a day and I saw on a website that they
sold it, so I literally like travelled to the record store, couldn’t find it, walked
past it twice or three times… Thrice? English is hard! So the next one is
another Record Store Day one that’s from Record Store Day 2017 and it’s ‘Song
Seeds’ by the Lumineers. It has ‘Angela’ on the front and then ‘Long Way From Home’
on the back. I also, spoiler alert, have another Record Store Day album, which is
from Record Store Day 2018. It’s a really nice one, so just stay tuned for that one! It
will be in part 3! So continuing to the next one: ‘Midnight Memories’ by One Direction. And it’s one of my first singles or even records I think. I think I owned
this before I owned a record player. It has this really amazing artwork on the front and back. Up next in Amber’s Record
Collection! ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran and it has ‘Thinking Out Loud’ on
one side and then ‘I’m A Mess’ on the other side. So next one is my record by
Harry Styles. I got this, I think I got it online, I’m not sure. *Hums ‘Sign Of The Times’* I haven’t listened
to his music since New York. Ever since New York! The next one is by the 1975 and
it’s ‘Loving Someone’. It’s their exclusive record, which got release on their site
as well. If you want to get it, then go to the1975.com and order it for way
less than I did! Two more singles by the 1975, they were included in the box set
which I’ll show you in my part 3 of my record collection. This is the last
one! It’s ‘Amnesia’ by 5 Seconds Of Summer, which has ‘American Idiot’ on the back
side. I hope you liked this video! If you did, give it a thumbs up and I will
continue with part 2 next week! Bye!
