say hi hi what are we getting ready to go do get my hair cut okay let's do a spin let's do a spin around see how long your hair is whoo she has decided that she would like to cut her hair short and donate her hair too I've gotta think of the name of the organization it is not locks for love but it's the other one we're going to cut it long enough that she has 12 inches cut off okay we're trying this again we're here is right now it goes to the top of her rear basically she wanted to go out until it was down here to her knees but any other year or so so she's very gentle change she had requested that we going out haircuts that's we're going to do and I'm just going to measure it really quick you see how long actually yeah so in late it is about 21 inches long so 21 inches from the like crown of her head all the way down so I do one final spin let's see he's from long never seen this little girl so giddy about getting a haircut she is so excited to get her hair cut short because this is not what her face she's beautiful isn't she all right we'll see what it looks like Hagen guys so this is round two we went to the exchange yesterday we were not able to get her haircut so we made an appointment this morning for 10:30 and she is vodka her er chopped off and the organization that we are donating her hair to is called wigs for kids because they don't charge the patients for the wigs so they do ask for donations so we might look into that how are you feeling about getting your hair cut good good and kind of nervous I bet you are she and has been growing her hair out since she was a baby I mean we won't the only thing we've done is get her hair trimmed a couple times I think she said our hair trimmed four times at the most so this is going to be a huge change and she's super excited her hair's going to be short enough to only be able to wear a headband or a little ribbon in her hair so no more braids no more ponytails no more pigtails but that's alright because hair grows out and she's ready for a change so here we go okay this is one last look of how long her hair is from the front to the side turn sideways turns it there you go and the back all the way down there alright are you ready all right look at me we hope I've let's do this here we go we're about this tape on my long here Oh what do you think okay stand up and spin around for me is it perfect good job but Yugi it's awesome to spin and she's got her hear that we're gonna donate she's very excited you look beautiful we ready let's see how much hair we got in there that's a whole bag full of hair huh that's a lot of hair all right let's go show daddy it was nothing so much easier I know my gosh what do you think she looks like a hole isn't it adorable she has been bragging about it for the last 30 minutes she looks so different she's so proud that's 90 beautiful hey guys so I realize it's been a couple of weeks since we did Savannah's haircut but she is we're ready to start packing it up to donated to the wigs for kids I think that's where we're gonna actually donate it to wigs for kids and I will include the link down in the description so what they asked you to do and of course I didn't read it before we actually did the haircutting but they tell you to divide the hair before you cut it straight down the middle and ponytail it and then they tell you to divide each side by two at least two sometimes by three so my hair is a mess so you have at least four to six strands of hair of ponytail of course I didn't do it that way so I did this afterwards so we have four strands like this but the reason I tell you to do it that way is because you get more length rather than pulling it back on the ponytail like this you get a lot more length as it right at your normal hair level so you get more length to actually put into the wig so anyways we are getting ready to package this up we're going to put it in a ziploc bag they want you to have rubber banded cute the Rogaine should be two to three inches apart then you need to put it in a is to be clean and dry before you hopefully before you cut it it's going to be clean and dry we're going to put it in a plastic quart size ziplock bag and then we're going to package it up and we're going to send to the post office now wigs for kids is actually a free service to the kit to the child and a lot of times it will ask for donations and at this time we don't have any donations I don't necessarily feel like I want to set up any kind of fund to put towards the hair because I feel like people feel obligated to donate so if for some reason you contact me and you would like to make a donation that is totally up to you I'm not going to ask for one but I can always send it in later so yeah that's what we're doing now we're going to package this hair up we're going to put it in an envelope and get it ready to mail off so we'll have that done and we'll get this vision you posted because I meant to do this a while ago so okay that's what we're doing now oh no effort out in the tissue paper okay we're going to line it up on the tissue paper to wrap it here look look better wrap it in a tight roll here okay so we went to this website called wigs for kids and you fill in all your personal information and how you heard about the website and what you're donating and asked you to print out this page so we're going to print this up and include it in the bag that has the hair in it and then we'll be able to get the label printed and get this shipped off so there's the the name of the website alq I'll include a link in the description as well so
