STUDENTS AND PARENTS FROM ALBUQUERQUE )S DOLORES GONZALES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL JOINED TOGETHER TO READ THIS EVENING. THE SCHOOL IS TAKING PART IN THE “ONE BOOK, ONE SCHOOL” PROGRAM – READING THE BOOK “THE ONE AND ONLY IVAN” TOGETHER AS A SCHOOL. PARENTS ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO READ THE BOOK – WHICH IS PRINTED IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH – TOGETHER WITH THEIR CHILDREN AT HOME. we really want to engage students in the love of reading and we want to engage our community MEMBERS OF THE KRQE STAFF, INCLUDING NEWS 13 )S CRYSTAL GUTIERREZ, WERE ON HAND TO HELP OUT WITH TONIGHT )S CELEBRATION. DOLORES GONZALES IS ONE OF THE FIRST SCHOOLS IN A-P-S TO ADOPT THE “ONE BOOK ONE SCHOOL” PROGRAM.
