Hi! I’m Nico Astegiano and today I won’t talk about theory or music techniques today we’re going to do something more fun at least for me But of course I want to talk about audio gear and stuff cuz I love it We’re going to make The Studio Tour 2019! I didn’t make a 2018 episode but… so I’ll share with you my humble studio I got a lot of coments about it about my Laptop, my speakers and lot of questions like that The best way to response all is making a video about my studio An also i can share the rooms in here As always hit the suscribe button if you want naah! dont worry about it … Today let’s chill Lets go! First lets check the control room I have a lot of things to comment about it let’s see them First of all what laptop I use it’s a macbook pro mid 2012 with the specs you can see in the screen Despite it’s and old macbook pro for audio it’s does their job very well also if we don’t run pirate softwares My audio interface is a Audient ID14 as you can saw in other videos the Ad/da converters are great I fully recommend this model It’s sounds amazing for sure Always have a lot of comments about this piece of gear It’s a channel strip called ART voice channel It’s a valvestate preamp plus a compressor a desser, and expande/gate and also an EQ It’s an excellent pre amp for the money down there I have the Tascam 1641 I got it 10 year ago And I use it to record drums it has 14 in and 4 outs This is a monitor station I also showed it in another videos it’s a passive one and it’s connected to the Tascam interface I have two screens this is a 32″ led tv 1080p resolution it’s not the best but works for me Also I have a Korg MicroKorg MK1 is my first synth and a really love it I recommend to buy as your first synth in the dark is the lexicon lambda this is another audio interface i got back in the days I have another ART voice channel but is out of service what’s more! Down there! Presonus faderport it’s a great MIDI controller for Daws and my speakers are the Focal ALPHA 50 there are amazing studio speakers and the smaller ones are a paor of EDIFIER R1200T I bought them 12 year ago they are home speakers but I know them pretty well You can see now my rubik cube is a MOYU WEILONG I guess right there I have my lovely arturia keylab in my opinion the best MIDI keyboard for the price it’s my favorite one my workflow with the keylab is great up there is the Drumbrute IMPACT a beautiful drum machine from ARTURIA It’s sound amazing let’s continue whit the tour stuff and stuff this is my recording setup for guitars it’s always connected to record It has a Shure sm57 at my Champion 40 from fender a power brick for the power from ARTEC and a boss Dual Overdrive from the 90′ and a DD3 also from the 90′ the Digital delay sound amazing and it was my first pedal I got since I had 14 years old Well… now I can show you the thing there aren’t connected a lot of people always ask me about my vintage guitar It’s a TEISCO spectre 2 and it’s from 1969 it’s a beautiful as you can see and it’s sound so good It’ a japanese brand It’s a real vintage guitar Also I use to record my acustic guitars a CORT L100F It’s gorgeous as you can see it’s a great sound guitar Cort is making a great acustics guitar lately in the another hand This is my bass guitar is a YAMAHA rbx 170 it’s been with me since i had 17 year old or so I play horrible as well my headphones are a pair of AKG K240 studio they are good value for money I really recommend this model and also have a pair of FOSTEX T20RP they are great! for sure I barely use them cuz I’m always using the AKG Now this is my mic Suitcase I have a RODE Nt1a the bet mic for me also my first one a shure SM58 A SAMSON Q4 I never used it (hahah) I have the Audio technica couple the 2035 and the 2020 I only use them when I record drums another SM 57 from shure always have one of these a 2021 from Audiotechnica too I use it to record the bottom snare and the popular AKG D112 it a great mic for sure and iconic one and its for Bass Drums for low frecuency thats why it’s so big I have also the K2 from RODE and another RODE NT1 for recording this video sound that’s all my gear in here! Lets move to the another space in the studio the live room and the hall there are small but work for me the name of the studio is Audire recording Studios ok! leaving the control room you can find the hall nothing too special in here my records guitar strings a very old telephone nothing interesting this is the door for the live room some artist signed for me this is the live room as you can see is strongly treated it has a lot of acoustic panels also some bass traps the wooden roof my headphones a splitter for the tascam another record Alquimia record is in the channel if you want to listen and there you have the K2 from RODE My voice microphone It’s sound amazingly good That’s all for now thanks for watching and sorry for my english
