Hi, my name’s Aino and this is my rabbit Taawi Taawi is a four-year-old rabbit of mixed breed Well as soon as I adopted Taawi about two years ago I realised that he was a very special personality He is the most active and energetic rabbit I have ever seen I started to train him tricks soon after I got him At first it was hard for him to concentrate because he was so very excited But I trained him patiently And soon he began to love doing tricks He also turned out to be a very clever rabbit Because it doesn’t take much time for him to understand what I want from him and he also has an unbelievable memory, since he knows about 30 tricks I train Taawi with a method called positive reinforcement What it means is that I reward him for the behaviour I want from him I use also a clicker to tell him what exactly he does right At first I reward him when he does at least something right And then I slowly raise the bar until he knows the entire trick I usually use part of Taawi’s daily meal as a reward But sometimes he also gets for example, fresh carrot and dried banana Which are his very favourites Taawi and I are really good friends I think he trusts me 100% and urm, we have developed our own ways to communicate and have fun together He really enjoys me petting him Trick training is some real quality time we share Taawi lives in a two-story hutch with his girlfriend Fuga Whenever I’m home they also get to use my whole apartment to run around and have fun and I also have a harness for Taawi and he really enjoys going out and we often take a walk in the forest nearby Achieving a Guinness World Records title is actually something I never thought I’d do until I discovered Taawi’s talent I think it’s awesome to see Taawi go down in history Well my advice for all pet owners is to never underestimate their pets I think every animal has talent of some sort and it’s up to the owner to find out what their pet is good at and then give them opportunities to have fun and develop their skills
