The Beatles – Record Store Day Vinyl Releases

November 1, 2019 1 By Kailee Schamberger

Hey friends, in this video we are going to see all Beatle releases for the Record Store Day, as most of you know the Record Store Day event is now twice a year and is all about to support independent record stores from all over the world. We are going to see all Beatles releases so far, for us Beatle collectors let’s start with this single it’s a re-ed from the 1966 single Paperback Writer/Rain this single came out in the RSD from 2010 as you can see is a carbon copy from the original, the cover is a bit fragile it’s like paper and that is why is kinda hard
to keep it in good condition 4K copies of this one were made and the price goes from 25 to 50 USD depending on condition really cool here we have this 4 vinyl single box inside this box you’ll find: Ticket To Ride, Yellow Submarine, Hey Jude and Something this box was released twice, November 2011 and April 2012 there’s a poster inside, the 4 singles and a single hub this is a numbered edition and 15 K copies were released 15,700 copies I think and you could see the number on the back of the box behind this print, I’m curious about the number but I rather to keep it sealed to conserve the value good stuff too we have here this re-ed from the 1964 Long Tall Sally EP this edition came out in the 2014 RSD event in November, in the Black Friday event 7K copies were released from this one and this is the easier and cheaper record to find you can get this one from 8 to 12 USD, this one is from 2014 you can get this one from 20 or 25 USD to 50 depending on condition if it’s sealed and complete and is very collectible then we have here this LP, this is not a Beatle release this is the soundtrack for the movie “The Family Way” composed by McCartney with George Martin’s help, edited in 1967 but as we know McCartney was a Beatle by then that’s why I’m including this one here this one comes from the 2015 RSD but I don’t know how many copies were made this one is not so hard to get or expensive I could grab this one in 13 USD shipping included, is very accessible an collectible. here we have a link with Kula Shaker band I’m a very big fan of them here we have Hayley Mills as the main actress, Mother of Crispian Mills frontman and lead guitarrist from this band, Kula Shaker the soundtrack is really good if you haven’t listened is definitely worth finally we have this re-ed from 2017 it’s a re-ed from the single Penny Lane / Strawberry Fields released along the Sgt. Peppers 50th anniversary although this songs are not included in the album they marked the beginning of that great work, 7K copies were released and the price goes from 18 to 30 USD and about the Record Store Day, the good things are: every year we have very collectible items released due their limited editions, we have different catalog releases the ones in the USA and the ones released in the UK the bad things are that stores are not allowed to sell online those days (I think they are 2) you can only buy going to the store so the more popular band records sold out almost immediately some stores are able to sell the leftovers online one week after the event another bad thing is that most people buy the records to resell them on e-bay for example, in exaggerated prices sometimes records are offered 3 or 4 times more than the original price making the records harder to get or harder to buy because most of the times there are lots of records available but in higher prices the only real option is to be there in the store in USA or in the UK and so far these are all the Beatle releases, there are Beatle solo releases I would like to make another video to show only releases of the Beatles as solo artists there are very good and highly collectible items that’s it for now, hope you liked it see you soon and keep collecting!
